I occasionally look into the backend of our store’s shopping software to see what people are buying, focusing on what they are piecing together a la carte. Much of what I see is pressure washer and polishing-related. We have spent countless hours putting together our pressure washer solutions to make that purchasing experience much more straightforward, and that has proven to be a success. I wanted to do the same thing with our polishing products.
We took all you’ll need to polish your car for paint correction and put it into this kit. You can choose how many pads you need and the size(s) of your polisher. I chose the LHR15 Mark III 5" Random Orbital Polisher and the Flex XFE 7-12 80 Polisher as my go-to polishers. The LHR15 from Rupes is the sweet spot between being large enough to do all the main panels and small enough to get into the detail areas. The Flex has the ability to oscillate and rotate, which comes in handy in certain applications and doesn't leave behind some of the haze you get with a rotary polisher.
3M Precision Masking Tape also comes in this kit in three sizes: ¼”, 1”, and 2”. I used to carry the purple 3M tape, which was good, but I found it to be too thick and hard to tear. Having this thinner tape makes it much simpler to get into corners and around headlights. I also wanted towels, so we included low and high pile polishing towels and a claw tool. The claw tool comes in clutch.
I use all this stuff when polishing my cars, which many of you have seen me do hundreds of times. It increases efficiency and productivity when you have all these tools within reach. If you’re looking to upgrade your polishing tool arsenal or just want to get off on the right start with the proper equipment, I highly recommend getting this; you won’t regret it.
